Power Sockets

Each Scenic river cruise ship is fitted with 220v European electricity outlets, but you will need a suitable European plug adaptor to use electrical items such as mobile phone chargers. Scenic Eclipse and Scenic Eclipse II are fitted with American electricity outlets.

All vessels are equipped to deal with the majority dietary requirements with 4 weeks notice.  If you have any questions or concerns please speak with us prior to booking a cruise. 

Scenic ships boast a range of dining venues, each presenting a distinct culinary journey that embodies the local culture and its traditions. The chefs onboard are genuinely enthusiastic about introducing guests to regional cuisines and delicacies, ensuring a departure from the familiar tastes of home. Every onboard eatery is thoughtfully crafted to elevate the cruise experience, with the anticipation that guests will find great pleasure in exploring the diverse and delightful culinary offerings available.

Refreshments

Providing a variety of refreshments, including alcoholic and hot drinks, as well as light lunches and snacks, can be ordered to the suite. Most Europe river cruise ships operate an 18-hour all-inclusive room service policy, while room service is available 24 hours a day on Scenic Eclipse.

Tea and Coffee

Tea and coffee amenities are accessible at specified stations across the ship, such as the Crystal Dining room, Observatory Lounge, and River Café. Alternatively, guests can request hot beverages to be delivered to their suites.

Beverage

In each suite, guests can enjoy a complimentary mini bar stocked with a variety of beverages and snacks, replenished daily. Additionally, guests have the option to request additional drinks and meals to be delivered to their suite.

In every Scenic suite, there’s a telephone available for guests to use for ordering room service or making outbound calls. Please note that any calls made using the phone will incur charges, which will be settled at the conclusion of your voyage.

Complimentary WiFi access is available on board all vessels. It’s important to note that internet access may be limited or non-existent at certain times due to high demand from other users, or proximity to telecommunication services. Full WiFi coverage in a passenger’s suite cannot be guaranteed.

For travelers on land journeys, it’s advised to note that WiFi is available at selected hotels only.

Embark on up to 10 thrilling helicopter excursions during each Discovery Voyage. Guests have the opportunity to witness the Kimberley’s stunning vistas from above, with options ranging from scenic flights over iconic landmarks to immersive visits to hidden gems.

Guests relax in the quietest aircraft in the skies, featuring air-conditioned interiors and Bose® noise-canceling headsets with voice activation. Unparalleled visibility through large windows and wrap-around windscreens from every seat enhances the experience.

Guided by Experts

Under the leadership of renowned wilderness expert Mike Cusack, guests are accompanied by a dedicated Discovery Team comprising marine biologists, wildlife veterinarians, historians, naturalists, geologists, and ornithologists. The helicopter pilots undergo rigorous training by a seasoned Kimberley expert with over 13 years of flying experience in the region.

For safety reasons, passengers in wheelchairs cannot be carried on tenders or Discovery experiences including but not limited to Zodiacs, kayaks and submersibles. Collapsible walkers may be taken onto tender vessels for transfer to shore for the included touring. 

Walkers are however unable to be taken on the Zodiacs at any time due to space restrictions. All walkers must be stored in your suite as there is no additional storage space on board. 

Embarking and disembarking the tenders, Zodiacs, kayaks and submersibles are via a mud room/change room with steps leading to a marina platform and requires the ability to step into and out of these vessels unaided.
