• A tour doctor is onboard and available 24/7 throughout the tour (unless otherwise stated).
• The doctor is typically English-speaking; translation is provided if not.
• Introduced at the start of the tour, the doctor gives a medical briefing during the introductory meeting.

• Bring enough prescription medication for the entire trip.
• Some medications (e.g. sleeping pills or strong painkillers) may be restricted in certain countries—check with embassies.
• Inform the doctor onboard if you’re carrying any prescription medications.
• It’s recommended to carry a medical summary from your doctor if you have ongoing conditions.
• Vaccinations: Check with your GP; influenza vaccine is strongly advised.
• Pack basic medications: ciprofloxacin, loperamide, a broad-spectrum antibiotic, and hand sanitiser.

• Dietary requirements should be provided in advance via the booking form.
• Wheelchair users: Must inform in advance; train corridors cannot accommodate wheelchairs, but off-train excursions can sometimes be arranged (additional charges may apply).

• Moderate fitness is recommended due to uneven terrain, stairs, and varying activity levels.
• Passengers may opt out of excursions and stay on the train or use hotel day rooms.

• If hospitalisation is required, the team will escort you and liaise with your family.
• Hospital costs are at your own expense—ensure your travel insurance covers treatment and repatriation.
• If you’re deemed unfit to continue, repatriation will be arranged—adequate insurance is essential.

• Frequent handwashing with soap and water
• Using hand sanitiser before meals
• Reporting symptoms immediately to stay in your cabin and receive care
• For colds: Avoid close contact, sneeze into tissues or your sleeve, and wash hands regularly.
